After just two days of work, it's done! For something like this, I fully expected to take at least a week and at most several months to finish, but no. I finished in a mere two days. It's remarkable what I can accomplish when I truly put my mind to it.

3D Hylian Shield based off of it's appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Sort of a pseudo-commission for a friend who's moving away to Germany soon, so I wanted to make something as a thank you for all he's done to help me out in the past two years. He wanted it to be mountable to a wall, so I included a clip on the back that allows just that.

About 6 inches from the top of the shield to the bottom; 5 inches wide. Sculpted from polymer Super Sculpey FIRM clay, and painted in acrylics.

Looks really nice. It has a "gummy" appearance, but judging by the progress you're showing, I'd say there isn't much time before you start to perfect the techniques and overall ability behind making a perfectly clean sculpt (which I still have yet to do).
