Happy Halloween 2011 by xxLelouchxx67 Happy Halloween 2011 by xxLelouchxx67
A little clay piece I did for this year's Halloween. Figured I'd make something each holiday from now on, since I don't exactly take part much in said holidays anyway. (No trick-or-treating, costume, Christmas tree, etc. for me.)

I actually made this one all in one night; the quickest I think I've ever made a sclupture. I was really lost at first with the concept; at first I was going to do just a black stick-figure with a depressed jack-o-lantern head, or maybe a skeleton, but then I realized black cats are often associated with Halloween as well.

Therefore I decided to just mold a black cat and throw an evil Jack-O-Lantern on it. The pumpkin is actually inspired yet again by my new iPod RPG, Infinity Blade. It's based off the "Holiday Helm," which is a helmet shaped exactly like said Jack-O-Lantern seen above.

After the cat was done I still had time into the night so I pooped out a gravestone and a bag of candy real quick.

Didn't turn out quite like I had hoped (that's a given; I spent 3 hours on it tops) but it works for a small holiday-ish celebration. I feel like I made the cat body crappy, since I'm generally bad at making living things...
I also crapped out on the base. I have yet to learn to press out all the damned air or bubbles will form as you can see in the picture...
